Axial 27t motor burned out

So my motor just burned out. I was wondering as a newcomer in RC for two years now, I was wondering if it's the 2.2's I installed with the R.R gears and MIP's. For a replacement motor, should I go for the 20t? Help a noob out! lol

These stock "can" motors are not rebuildable. Brushes wear out, thats the nature of a brushed motor. If you buy a nice rebuildable hand wound motor, It can last a long time with some minor maintenance.
