Not sure if you have researched it, but I found numerous complaints that the comanche bed cracks where the screws attach the two beds. Just letting you know.

SLAUGHTER'S RIGHT I THINK I SPENT MORE TIME PAINTING THE BED THAN THE CAB, AND SURE ENOUGH WITH ALL THE INTRICATE CUTTING AND VERY LITTLE AREA FOR THE HOLES IT CRACKED AND RIPPED. JUST IMAGINE HOW PISSED I WAS.....

IT STILL LOOKS PRETTY GOOD WITHOUT IT... HERE'S MINE:

My plan was to run just the cab with a custom built tube bed/exo cage. I just wanted the cab with the under the rear "window" to be complete instead of open as it would be if i cut the bed off a regular body. If that makes any sense.

Still sucks that its SO expensive, i remember looking for it a while back and it was reasonably priced. Now i finally get a scx and the price is jacked up.

Anyone have other suggestions to a similar lexan body with a full cab by itself?

Not that it matters since you are not using the bed, but neither version is attached to the cab.

So basically the only difference between the two is the fact you can use the honcho bed on the one and cant on the other?

the bed looks ok, im not 100% sold on the little deal behind the side windows. Just not a fan. But its the only square body scale lexan truck body i have found and need the full cab.
