| RC4WD Axial SCX10 steering servo chassis mounting kit
hi guys.. anyone tried the above on their Honcho? i installed mine and noted a few things.. seems i need a longer than normal servo horn(1.5in?) , as the rods are hitting the servo horn whenthe front suspension compress? the stock steering rod is too long, when the front wheel is facing straight it is abt 30deg off.. use servo trim or trim the rods? the mounting of the servo on the chassis seems like a good idea, but it seems i need some work to get it working right in the 1st place! so anyone had exp with it? worth the trouble? thanx all |

They look like the tracks a guy from MadTraxxx RC was posting about on the Traxxas Slash 2wd forum a while back.

your drag link is probably hitting the servo horn simply because of how high the mount is on those knuckles...

| ya quite true.. i chged the mounting to the bottom instead of the top, now its working fine! but there is still not much clearance for the servo horn..(i am using the AJS front bumper mount.. the shape doesn't allow much space..)
