Anyone kno how to modify the radio shack matttracks to fit the scx10?

Im in the process of doing so for my AX10. I made it so the hex fits into the "wheel" in the track to turn it, but the issue is you need to support the weight of the rig elsewhere (not on that wheel). This is the harder issue, especially for steering axles (and i have rear steer so both mine are steering axles). I am at the point where I think I am going to build my own framework and just reuse the rollers and track from the mattracks. I am considering even using a cut down stock wheel to use to spin the tracks, the one I modified works but under high the stress these rigs see I can see it failing.

There was a member on here that modified his but he hasnt been on for a few months and the one pic he posted of how he did it is not showing
