good pics!

which rig is yours? I only ask because I hear the Boggers (stock or cut) don't do so well on the rocks... I'm wheeling cut Boggers on my Honcho, but had them in sand and mud/water only so far...

those Boggers are mounted backwards by the way

mine is the cherokee. he has cut down super swampers. they did decnt considering the sandstone rock. i am running the iroks. both tires had a bit too much side bite for some of the tight places we got into

Cool pics. So where is this historic place? Looks fun

toka100 10-25-2011 08:46 AM

it is just south of the wyoming-colorado state line south of cheyenne. everyone just calls it the rocks. i didnt actually read the statue to get all the info but from what steve told me one of the last battles between the calvery and the indians took place here. there is two large sandstone formations abut 100 yards apart. each group took cover in them and battled it out for 3-4 days straight. 1-25 actually splits the two formations now. there was so my photo ops when i was there but my phone was dieing.

My friends and I used to go hike around in those rocks when I lived in Fort Collins, before I got into crawling. Ever since I got into crawling I have been DYING to go back there, glad to know it's a good spot, next time I get some leave to go home I am gonna try to make it up there! "thumbsup"

Is this the place you've talked about having a comp/GTG at? I'd love to check this place out. We already have enough things going on in Denver and even further south...I think more events in the north would be great.

Yah Juan this is one of the places. The whole time I was there I was thinking about course layouts. There are a lot of tight spots that even our honchos barely fit. Don't think the wraith would do very good at all.

If you guys have something going on around christmas time, just let me know, I think I am gonna be able to take about a week of leave and would LOVE to go up there for some good crawling action.
