| SCX10 Dingo
I really like the looks of the Axial SCX10 Dingo and was wondering why there's not a lot of threads on that particular body style. The Toyota seems to be the fav. Also, is there an advantage to buying the kit over the TR other than lower alum links and metal driveshafts? I don't need the radio and I know the electronics will soon be replaced with better stuff, but there's only $50 difference between the two. Plus, I prefer the look of the FlatIrons over the Ripsaws, for scale. Any comments? |

i think once people get more comfortable doing mods and making their rig their own the dingo body gets tossed so you can add a full interior i think you see more yota bodys because thats what people drive IRL or have at one point. i dont know about the 1.9 ripsaws but theres deff not a worse tire on the market than the ones that came on my wraith.

| Dingo
I bought a Dingo and love it! Here is a thread on how you can modify it to look really nice: My SCX10 Land Rover Look at page 4, I'll start to work on mine, inspired by this... Last edited by stigno; 12-05-2011 at 11:12 AM. |

Thanks guys. Is there no interior in the kit? And is the body all one piece, or in sections? Some neat ideas in that link. I'm in the middle of a Wraith build and wasn't going to spend money on another vehicle right away, but I have absolutely no will power. |

If your after good performance with the flat irons they are made in a g8 compound and work well.

I think the Honcho is more popular due to it's longer wheelbase, which gives better performance on climbs/decents. Also the Dingo was until recently an RTR truck, and kit's give you the option to change parts as your going along, and make the truck you really want.
