I took one set of 2.2 Rok Lox and reduced them to fit a 1.9 rim. They ended up right at 5" tall and I love them.

I am running mashers with the dinky summit set up and love it. I liked the 1.9s as well. But the mashers are awesome.

Yup, great compound with killer lug's! My SCX10 based rig with 2.2 PitBulls just beat out a bunch of Wraith's for the Class 3 win... 2nd comp in a row

Testing out the custom front 3 link that I built. Extended the wheelbase about 1/2 inch too.

This is not true!

I tossed a set of 2.2 wheels from a Wraith (12mm hex) and they did NOT fit my SCX-10 due to interference with the steering linkage.

Hi guys,

Got an idea I wanted to run by you. I wanna build an SCX10 using the dingo kit and the Proline 56 Ford pickup body. Its going to be more of a basher for me. I'm not crazy about the look of the 1.9 wheels and tires so I was thinking. What if I run some Aluminum 1.5 inch wide 2.2 rims with some Proline Trencher SC tires? The Trenchers are about 4.5 inches tall making them about the same as some of the larger 1.9 tires, and we all know the 2.2 rims won't interfere with the Dingo suspension.

Trencher
Height: 4.35
Width: 1.83

Maybe run some 1.9 Foams to give them a little squish?

Ideas? Thoughts?

I am running a proline bronco body, and 2.2 mudslingers. They are smaller 2.2 and it looks like it has 39in tires on it. fits pretty well, picture soon.

My son uses the G Made wheel widener! He has had them on for almost 6 months now and loves them! He runs 2.2 tires on his truck and it seems to help with clearance issues.

Not sure if I'd use beadlocks on it (I have a couple sets that should work) or get something like the standard Stampede rims.

1.9 wheels look way to small for it. When I was running a shorter wheelbase, 2.2 Mud Slingers were perfect.

I actually bought the larger ProLine Slash bug body yesterday, it should fit the new longer wb and Pitbull tires even better.
Update? Any pics of the new Slash bug body? I really like the look of yours. Thats the look I am going for with my scx10. It sounds like I just need wheels with the correct offset(like ax10 rocksters) tires & a body.
