I was bored yesterday and slapped some 2.2 on my SCX10. Disappointed that I would have to a considerable amount of modification's to do. I like the idea of the larger foot print, but is it worth it or should i just buy a Wraith?

I run 2.2 wraith rip saws with 15mm axle extentions. They work great.
Still a lot of tire to turn for the stock axles.

This was the 2.2 combo my honcho came with. The truck is unchanged in this pic, the guy that owened it before had it dialed in pretty good.

Here is scx-10 on 2.2 rockstars and my panel wagon body

This is my current raptor hybrid on the same wheel and tire combo

I bought my truck used with 2.2 badlands, which worked great just not the look I wanted. Tried a set of 1.9s from a friend, and got hung up all the time on the trails. Then I went to my current set up and it runs trails and climbs like a goat. Plus it has the look I was after, not a fan of tall 2.2s on this truck that's why I got one of the shortest 2.2s I could find that had a nice scale design.

X2 I run with 1.9's and the other two guys I run with have 2.2's. There are times I cannot get up things they can, but there are just as many times they cannot get up what I can. Different rigs with different weights, but it all comes out in the wash. 1.9's forever

Somebody revived an old thread . . .

Big size difference, but if you were close I would think about taking the 1.9s off your hands.

A friend brought an extra set of 2.2's with him on our last run. I threw them on just to try them out and this was the result. Floatation devices . . .

A friends sx10 in the water - YouTube

I have obviously been all for 1.9s and although it was fun (2.2s) for a short while, I was glad to put the 1.9s back on.

Cool.. But less stable.
Spends more time on the roof now. I've since gone back to 1.9's

Back when I had the RC4WD 2.2 Rock Crushers. I have to admit after a complete drive train upgrade the rig was unstoppable. I am running the RC4WD tsl's now. They are a tall 1.9 so I still get excellent clearance with a better cog.

I know this is an old thread, but was wondering if you use the +19mm offset or the +13mm offset in this rig setup? I like the way it looks.
