Here is my Honcho with 2.2 Axial Rocksters and 2.2 Pro-line Flat Irons.

The front tires rub the bumper and the body behind the tires when turning while flexed. The pictures showing the rubbing can be seen in my album. I think this set-up looks awesome, but I'll stick to 1.9's so I don't have to heavily modify anything.

Thanks man and I really like your f350 truggy. And it's 2.2 axial wheels glued together. But that tundra is getting turned into a truggy now and runny skinny tires.

first off, I'd read this thread end to end, some of it is repeated, but it's all good info. I'm suprised more people on here haven't done more of these bits...
Tips and Tricks Thread

I need to get some pics up of my sons Honcho, 2.2's, all we had to do for clearance is to trim down the front edge of the side bars, cut off both sides of the front bumper as many people have done, and bought some taller body mounting posts, basically lifted up the shell close to 1 inch... doesn't look ideal, but the price was right and we didn't need to cut the body at all so if he ever wants to go back down to 1.9's he can. we also weighted the wheels pretty good to make up for it being more top heavy. Also, to anyone with a honcho, I'd suggest trimming/flipping the side bars. Free mod, works well. We went with the Venom 2.2 beadlock rims and TSL Super Swampers.... The combo works well and looks pretty good.

I realize this thread has been dead for several months but it is definitely hard to find much on the 2.2 SCXs out there aside from looking through the SCX10 Picture Thread.

Here is my SCX10 with the 2.2 Pit Bulls I put on this morning - I'm stoked to see how it performs now!

This is all pre-trimming obviously. My 2nd Honcho body arrived today so I will be trimming the hell out of it this weekend and then hopefully hitting the rocks.
