The ARTR AX-10 came without a slipper, the tranny tree has the plastic adapter plate to use that top shaft. I've stripped spurs but have not stripped the adapter. Not sure which top shaft to use with the Hot Racing plate.

Mine came without a slipper as far as I know(second owner) and I am running the HR gear.

I ran into the same issue with my Dingo kit. Did you find a solution that worked?

I use the MIP shafts as well and it was a very close fit! I just decided that when it was rubbing it was not that severe so I just didnt pay any attention to it! Been that way for almost 6 months now and I have not had an issue yet!

I've been running the Robinson racing 87 tooth and its a bit smaller diameter than the stocker.. Hope that helps. If not on the first page of this thread there is a link to a traxxas 84 tooth sour gear and that will week as well, plus give you a lil more wheel speed..

Ditch the slipper. I am running the 89t with MIPs, no issues.
