Red face just upgraded the scx

i just up graded to the axial steel out drives and inegy hd driveshafts was that a good choice or not?

They have a bad reputation for quality. If they work for you then go with it.

ive broken many integy stuff on my hpi baja but my dad has some on his sc8e and they r fine

so i guess go with it till it breaks

well i think i see some of the issues already none of the screws on the driveshafts were tight so i took them out and used some thread locker on them i hope that works

You shouldn't have a problem with those new outdrives, which is good because I broke my stock ones as soon as i got new driveshafts. As for integy they seem really hit and miss. If they work for you thats great, if not get some MIP shafts.

When you decide to put more power into your rig, look into Robbinson Racing gears for the AX10, but what you have is just fine. Ive bever experienced issues with Integy stuff but have seen some of my friends stuff fail so its hit or miss with them.

well i just got done testing it out now and the thread lock seems to be the trick the pins stayed in place and so did the screws just a tip if any one wants to know thanx for the input guys

The steel tranny outputs are a good idea, depends about the driveshafts. They may hold up in some setups. Integer is hit or miss with their stuff.

Still having good luck with stock tranny internals on 3s and novak 17.5 with a meaty trigger finger though...
