i looked at the top ten thing to upgrade and i saw that it said u need lockers so i looked up lockers on rc4wd and i only found this TracGear Spool Locker + Bevel Shaft for AX10 Scorpion. Would it work for the scx10? The reason i am askin is because i do not kno if they are the same or different.

Your diff should already be locked. That would not be one of my first upgrades. Looks like it comes with the gear set too but it doesn't mention what the teeth count is.

It'll fit but isn't the best to go with. You wanna be able to change the gearing with Axial's HD sets at some point. There are several vendors on here that make lockers. Felsenfest and highlandcrawler make no slop versions, RCP makes a solid one, Hot Racing makes a good one for cheap. All of those are IMO better than the RC4WD. Unless you want to get rid of slop the stocks are fine for a while, high power breaks the metal ears inside the plastic case and the slop gets worse, but they still drive. |
