Default Snow's Honcho Build (on a budget)

Well i bought a scx10 from a user here on the boards, I hope to have it soon!!! I will post all known specs soon! unfortunatley I have already bought some wraith axles and 2.2 axial rocksters. I see where this is going and I like it but my wife isnt going to....... bought her a 400 dollar sewing machine to make up for it.

MORE TO COME VERY SOON!!!!!!

More gifts for the wife to come!

You set the bar to high, you gotta ease her into it... Start with a thread and needle, then some fabric, a$50 gift, maybe a dinner or two and then move up. Now she's going to expect a $500 gift next time... but you'll need that money to build a 2nd rig. You can't just leave that extra set of axles sitting around... they'll be calling to you in the middle of night!
build Snow build, build me a 2nd rig, spend your car payment money. You don't need a 1:1 truck... just 1:10
...
Yup, you're in trouble

Smart move. Keep her happy. You should be able to justify your new addiction.

thats what i figured....
seller told me
Front shafts - $20 - $40 (depending on if you run CVD's or the dogbones)
$4 for the bearings
$10 rear axle shafts

With that said i guess i just need to figure out what brand to go with.... luckily i know this guy on the boards who has been real quick to answer any questions!!!!! he is semi local too!

Congrats on your new toy!

I have to agree with the USPS speed of delivery. I don't get why so many still use the slower, more costly alternatives.

Errrrr, I'm with ya Snow. Just sent ya a PM. FYI, I went over to our local pick-up for Fed-ex and show them the USPS slip, and they would have charged even more!!! They've changed routing, as our mail used to go to Santa Clarita, closer to LA. No idea why it went to Bakersfield. Guess I'll be the "Angry Customer" come Monday when I get back. I know how it is to wait for somthing. Good luck for getting it Saturday. Ron
PS: Temazepam 30mg works great for sleepage, preferably taken with a small glass of Lambrussco!
