ya the shorter one is a no go. not anywhere! grr well back to god ol painted aluminum I guess! don't mind that I like working on medal
Yea, the short one is part # 3338-00 You can see both pans on this page: Rock Crawling | Pro-Line Legacy

I found two of the short ones on the website of Northern Beaches Hobby Centre in Aus. I don't see them on there any more but maybe you can call them and see if they have one left that they were saving.

No XJ or Grand Cherokee from Tamiya. Some people don't like lexan due to the lack of detail that can be found in a hard body.

I did a Grand Cherokee build but it wasn't a Tamiya body.

You might have seen it here. Cherokee build - Very Scale - SCX10

Hi
I was reading your posts and i like your idea on a L/S diff. Would a diff spring from a off road buggy work? it would be a lot stiffer but may need lock washer shims. Just a idea

Love all three builds. Sadly I am finding these threads when stuff is old or outdated. I went looking for the JK body/newbright kit and cant find one. Do you have a model number for the one you used by chance?

Default Re: Rare Cherokee Floor Pan For Sale

I'm selling my last Pro-Line floor pan that I was saving for a future build since I don't think I'll be getting to it. These are long out of production and impossible to find any more. This is the shorter one that fits the 11.4" SCX10 chassis and is made for the Pro-Line Cherokee body. Part number is 3338-00
I also have the pro-Line interior too.
PM if interested

I REALLY wish I could take that floorpan of your hands.... Sadly, I'm pure Po Folk these days.
I guess I'll be the 10,000th to tell you, that Cherokee is absolutely AMAZING!! All 3 are outstanding work, but that Cherokee... WOW!

I came straight here from your YouTube video of your first run with open Diffs. I absolutely HAD to find out how you got those Diffs - when EVERYBODY and their Brother sells Lockers ONLY, in about 20 different styles.
I like the better steering of an open or limited-slip Diff.... and the Crawling Community doesn't want any part of it!

IF I can still FIND those Axial parts.... I'm going to use your spring trick, and also use 250,000-500,000 cst Diff Fluid. THAT should give a nice, firm, LSD effect!! I really want my front Diff not Locked, but not Loose either. Since the Axial Diff Case can be sealed, for the most part, the ultra thick, gooey fluid (not available when you originally did this), should make BOTH Front Wheels pull, but slip just enough to turn smoothly.

I've already tried the 500,000wt in my CC01 and it did apply torque to BOTH Wheels!!
I've picked up several good ideas from this Thread. Thank you!!

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words.

I have one of those open diffs left if you want it.
$14.95 with free shipping
Thanks,
Dan
