| SCX10 King of Hammers Rig Build Help
Hey guys! I'm going to start a king of hammers rig. I need a little help with a couple of options i have. I not sure whether I should braze the chassis or weld it? Ive never brazed before but i have welded a frame for my SCX10 shown here. Right now my rig is a toyota hilux I have started dooing some research and found someone who said to first make it out of straws which worked our pretty good. Shown here. I still need to get material but I'm not sure what to get because I'm worried about the weight. Should I be or not. As i did on my rig right now i welded solid steel rods for my half frame but its a bit heavy. What should I do? Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks. |

Brakeline is very popular, it can be welded or brazed. I brazed some aluminum tube, picked up at the lhs. .035 and some brazing rod from the local welding shop. It was easy to bend and not hard to braze. full interior cage rtr truck weighs 5lbs.
