Although mine was a RTR kit i have made a few changes for fun, a few cosmetic and a couple small tweeks.

I am waiting on a full set of alloy linkages and steel front bar and sliders at the moment. I am also waiting on a set of 5 billet alloy wheels

So far i have removed the bump stops from the standard shocks and lifted the body up one hole to get full up travel. I have also moved the battery forward.

With the battery i zip tied the rear of the standard tray in and used one screw up the front, it has been working very well so i think i will leave it that way, i wanted the control unit securely mounted and figured zip ties where lighter than screws and mounts.

Here is a pic to shoe my sticker placement, body height, custom windscreen graphic and bonnet protector.

first time out, this is before extra sticker mods but after battery placement change

Looks good. I got rid of the spare tyre on mine to as this get hooked up a lot when the rear drops down of rocks etc. I have also just removed the front bumper to as this protrudes to far and causes so much grounding!

I think the Rubicon body looks 10x's better with a top on it. something about the open cage makes it feel very long and thin to me. A roof closes that off nicely! Good Work

I love the Rubi for sure! But now lets talk about how awesome the spot where your running it is, that waterfall and stream are amazing!

Agree! I don't like My Rubi body for that reason. Need to find a way to mod it.

added some electrical tape on the flares and the back corners to try keep the body in good condition, the rocks where i wheel it are very unforgiving, i also found a jordi la forge to drive it !

i have also waterproofed the electrics, and moved a few things around as you can see

as you can see i also lost a mirror lol, if anyone has a sparey

i also installed vanquish back metal shock towers
