Default oh, what to do next?

i have a dingo with a couple mods, custom battery placement, custom CMS setup, electronics are not nearly in the stock spots, ect.

i have recently been working on a nissan D21 pickup body. made a mold of one by hand and ended up doing a fiberglass layup and had nothing but problems with it as it was curing too fast and the heat didnt help, then the body stuck to the mold, ect... long story short i made a great, extremely durable basher body but nothing presentable.

im looking for a new project, what would be a good body that i could build off of to make a killer rig that is unique? no yotas as they are too popular and im not much of a yota fan. no chevys, maybe a ford super duty but they are becoming popular now too. raptors are sweet. not a landy fan and do not like jeeps.

what you guys think would be fun and unique?

A beetle? I've seen a few builds with those and they look good.

I was thinking that. Originally I was going to build a polycarbonate one. Might still do that if I can learn what to do to finish my inventor drawing and plug that into a CNC machine.

My main worry with styrene is durability, my rig tends to upside down frequently. I read somewhere some one made their styrene body almost a hardbody but didn't say how tough it was.

For styrene should I be looking at my LHS?

LHS styrene starts to get pretty spendy after a while (not too bad though), check to see if you have a plastic company near you locally (my brother got a 4'x8' sheet for around $20) or check online.

You can use some fiber tape and epoxy (or shoe goo) on the inside to help strengthen it up.
I also read of someone using foam and then coating it with epoxy inside and out, styrene would be tougher though I bet.

I've got a Tamiya hard body truck cab (Ford Aeromax) on one of mine, only seen one other like it so far.

This part of any build, to me, is all preference. Your the one thats gotta look at it. You'll get some great ideas on here, then end up doing what YOU like anyway.

That's all I'm lookin for is some ideas to push me over the edge into creativity.

I love the raptors too. A solid axle raptor would be interesting. That's one I'll be looking for good scale bodies of.
