Default Beach conversion for my f-150

Wanted to have a little bit of faster fun at the beach this year without totally building another truck.

Sidewinder esc
15t brushed hpi motor
25/83 gearing
2.2 traxxas wheels
Already had MIP shafts
Panther paddles
Cooling fan from cc sct on motor
2600 mah 3s

I've done a few test runs at home, it should be a lot of fun, and there is a hobby shop near the condo for when I destroy something.

Very cool looking rig. That would be a blast to watch it go through some sand dunes.

Thanks, its an scx10 chassis, the bumper mounts have extra length built into them so I wouldn't have to permanently mod the frame. Wheelbase is stretched to 14".

Did you do anything to protect the motor from the sand?

The drop bed, inner fenders and slider/battery trays pretty much kept all the sand from getting above the frame rails. I have a castle motor fan too for running 3s but it didn't get more than a few specs on it.

Thanks man, it was a ton of fun we even took it to a track that was close by and got some air with it....doesn't fly that well, but no breakage.
