Default SCX-10 AE-2 ESC issue

I bought it about two month ago,and it's really nice.
now I had a problem about AE-2 ESC now.when I turn on
the switch on AE-2 ESC,it's no beeps sound and green led blinks
continuously and no throttle response with transmitter operation.motor no
moving.but steering control is ok.
I try to disconnect battery connector to ESC then recovery, and turn on the
ESC ,it's became normal and ok!
But turn off ESC and turn on again. this abnormal phenomenon occur again
Did anyone know what's happen on my AE-2 ESC???

Got any pictures of your connections? My first guess and thing to check would be your battery connections and connections to the motor.

Thanks~aebstract
I just check all connection from battery to ESC and ESC to motor, and also I change other battery.
But the present situation still abnormal.
my thinking maybe it's ESC problem, but hope this is wrong.

Happend to me a few times too I think it was a bad connection the first time motor wire the next time I had too recalibrate throttle if that don't work try going through programming (turn radio on while holding full throttle plug batt in turn on keep holding throttle) do search for the chart that tells u bout the beeps if that don't work try it again I'm betting its problly bad connection though I wouldn't give up on esc just yet

Happened to my buddy. Motor wire was loose. Check beneath the shrink tube and bullet connectors.

Have you tried testing the receiver? I had the same problem and it was either the radio or receiver. (upgraded to 3 channel) If you don't have extra electronics, just switch the esc and servo plugs on the receiver and see if you have any response from the radio. Be careful not to drive your rig off your work table.

I am having a similar issue with the RTR electronics on the Wraith Poison Spyder. It has the AE-2 ESC and AR-3 transmitter/receiver.

I have very limited steering response. I thought it was the servo so I replaced it the stock servo with a Savox with CC BEC. It worked for a little while and then out of no where the issue started again.

I plugged the Wraith servo into the receiver for my SCX10 and it works just fine, normal steering response.

I then plugged my SCX10 servo into the Wraith receiver and got very limited steering response.

I then plugged the servo into the throttle slot on the Wraith and I get normal steering range using the throttle trigger on the transmitter.

I believe that I have ruled out power issues and servo issues.

My question is what part would need to be replaced. It seems to me that the steering port on the receiver is bad, but I don't know enough about how they work to also rule out an issue with that channel inside the ESC or an issue with the transmitter.

I have also recalibrated the transmitter and esc and that did not help.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you
