Rcwd exo cage Hey, I was wondering if any of you had put a rc4wd exo cage on a scx10 chassis.any info is helpful |
Re: Rcwd exo cage This is an old thread but wanted to answer since nobody else did. Yes, you can put the RC4WD exocage on the SCX10. Some people don't like the tubes that go across the hood, but you can cur those out easily. Here's mine. http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...pspfraugjk.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...psx73afc3o.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...pssprsyupg.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...psqwo3azxq.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...pspz2aqlet.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...ps24f167s2.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...pszufq2yfj.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/...psvpbvmdem.jpg |
Re: Rcwd exo cage I don't really like any of the tube angles that cover the front fender(s) or hood. The canted forward and down look does not follow the body lines very well IMO. So, if I had one... I'd have to cut off the whole front end of that exo cage and redo it. Would be silly for me to spend that amount of money for it... and then have to hack it up to alter it. I'd fair better if I just started from scratch. I like that an exo cage might reduce some body carnage... but that's about all I lke about it. Not sure the increased COG is worth the trade off. Long as yer happy with it... is all that really matters ;-) btw... you need better foam inserts in those tires. |
