JP's Big Dirty Commanche Here's my truck, went to a local TTC last week and placed 3rd overall in the 2.2 class, 1st in the Rubicon! I noticed my truck crawls pretty nice so I changed a few things and thought I would take a few pictures before it gets too dirty! I do 90% of my crawling on my backyard rock course, but I seem to have a really hard time photographing it and showing what it really has to offer! Pictures always end up showing the whole thing all bunched together or I have to take a ton of pictures of each section. -Stuck on some 1.9 axial Ripsaws -Chassis mounted servo with stock axial servo plate (drill 2 holes, longer link, done!) -Dingo flares! Chopped 'em up to match my ghetto front end -No weight! my Badlands had 5oz in each front, 2oz in each rear, and a half pound of lead on top of the old servo/axle.... now I got zip! Makes it more challenging -New Integy 35t Lathe motor (fried my other new one at the ttc..) -Waterproofed finally! -Nice and dirty, just the way we like it. Other than that, its basically stock... Duratraxx alloy shocks, AE-2 esc, Savox MG servo, Zippy 2s 40c Lipos, 4-link front and rear.... Nothing special! Suggestions welcome, I've made the truck crawl like an ax-10 pretty much, I might go a little more scale now :) http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...7/photo-13.jpg http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...7/photo-12.jpg http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...7/photo-11.jpg http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...7/photo-10.jpg http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...57/photo-8.jpg And a little teaser section of my rock course.. nice and muddy today! http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...7/photo-14.jpg |
