Default My new SCX10 tuff truck

Bought her as chassis and bar work, added my ready to run trucks running gear. Splashed some paint on the outside. And popped on an interior.

What's with people's obsession with 2.2 tires? If you want it to look like a normal off-road truck, stick with 1.9s. If you're going for monster truck look then go 2.2. I think the truck looks great how it is. Keep it up man. Wish mine looked that good.

+1 on that! I did the 2.2 thing for a while and went back to 1.9s. For a scale look I think the 2.2 tire just looks out of scale!

I did the same. Put 2.2s on a H1 hummer and it looked retarded. Worst part was that I hacked up the body so when I went back to 1.9 I had to build the body back together with styrene.

This is a very favorable looking rig especially with the 1.9s. Love it!

I personally run 2.2s on my Honcho, but I think the 1.9s look perfect on this rig.

Nice work!

Currently It has a traxxas XL-5 ESC
550 brushed motor of unknown origin
Ace servo
I through it together with bits from my "buggery box"(Sorry Assie term for spare parts box comes from the phase "should have thrown them to buggery, but lucky I keep them!")
I have plans for some big brushless power. This truck was purchased to built a beach runner rig for rocks and sand, so power to trow sand around is a must. Will post more photos as bits go on thank you all for your comments. I have chucked 2.2s on her and they don't look to bad. stay tuned more photo to come.
