Default F-250 Scx10 New Body

Thought I would try something a little different apposed to the standard Scale body (Jeep, Honcho, Dingo, Blazer) so I went with a ProLine F-250 body. Came out pretty good.

Body is Proline F-250 with Tamiya Tundra body parts (Rear roll bar lights, front Bull Bar). Honcho wheel base.

Thanks.... Have to adjust wheel base a bit and play with mounting height maybe a very tiny amount of body trimming but other then that it's coming along. Still have to mount the front bull bar and work on an interior.

Decided to mount 1.9's on my VP 2.2's . They look killer IMO.

Yes, my idea is def going to try and do a drop bed. I have a comp next weekend so I will start on it after that. Not sure how it will go, since I havent really worked with Styrene before. We shall see. But on a good note the wheels and new body came out pretty damn good IMO.

Figured I would use my old Honcho ProLine Floor plan that I had. I'll take it out trim it up and re-paint it.

Also getting decent flex with how it's setup.

Looks sweet man

I was wondering when I'd see a rig of yours with 1.9's on 2.2 wheels. Looks good man, those wheels are killer.
What did you end up doing for foams? Have you wheeled it yet?

Yeah, I guess the wheel tire thing was one of the things I haven't done yet. But I am really liking the look. Haven't run it yet but seems like it's got movement and it's not top heavy like the Dingo. So we shall see how she does. As for the wheels, they are Vanquish (VP) Stars replica KMC RockStars. I love how the rig looks.

Well after looking at the rig and showing the pics to some friends we came to a conclusion. The blue C-hubs and knuckles had to go. I took it all apart and painted them then baked them so they would cure nice.

First pic is before, second is after.

I actually painted it and preheated the oven to 400 then through the parts in on a sheet of tinfoil. About 10 minutes, took them out let them cool and reinstalled them. Nothing special, but works good for durability.
Looks much better with red parts under .
