| yet another scx10 lux build
Hey guys, im back after a few years away from rc, a while back i bought a cheap hsp crawler and been playing around modding it ever since. Specs: 2.2 flat irons 120mm HR shocks at almost full droop and softest springs Hobbywing crawler 35a esc 1200kv leopard 3s lipo 10a rc4wd BEC Sxc10 chassis HSP front axle Scx10 rear axle Stock HSP radio gear (for now) Stock HSP servo (its crap wont be there much longer) Plans for my rig so far are: Custom links Rear susp mod to A setup Battery tray drop Elec box to rear (if theres room after the A setup) Set of rc4wd cast yota axles An exo (not sure weather ill try to build it or get it built) So it went from this... To this... And now to this... So after all that i've decided to put a rc4wd mojave body on it. And heres the body And after a spray Nice and bright lol Im having a little trouble with link lengths and the rear suspension at the moment, waiting on parts to do the rear sus mod so the body mounts right. If anyone can help with link lengths please let me know Anyway guys, will keep updates when i get things done. Cheers, joely. Last edited by joely; 08-18-2012 at 08:19 AM. So today i got bored and decided to do a few things. I've moved the electrics box to the rear, looks like a fuel tank ;) Dropped the battery tray right down And played with the rear suspension just to get the body sittin on for now (waiting on axle to do rear shock A setup) still gotta make up some links to get it all sitting right and work out how to mount the body. Oh and heres a bit of a video on my backyard trail just cause im bored https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt6g...e_gdata_player Last edited by joely; 08-19-2012 at 02:36 AM. |

| Re: yet another scx10 lux build At the moment they're HSP, and i cant get a lockout kit for it so i just got a stock scx rear axle. But eventually im gunna run rc4wd cast yota axles. I thought they were a little wide. And they just arent scale, gunna get stamped wagons and some IRoks when i have some more spare cash. |

I have heard they are very good tires. Possibly why people use them on their 1:1 rigs |
