Default My attempt at Dingo Cage Panels and Top

Well, I am not the most builder savy RC dude out there but heres my attempt to try to get a different look out of the Dingo stock body. Kids were in bed last night, wife was at book club (more like wine night) so I cut a few pieces to attach to my dingo. I was gonna do the whole roof, but figure I would not be able to get the rear body pins in and out. I used materials from The Home Depot, a 12x12 piece of plastic and had some Krylon Fusion laying around. Cost me about $3 and an hour of my time. I know I don't have a future in body mods but figure I would experiment. Any thoughts or suggestions to make it cooler keeping in mind my novice skills? Also saw a softtop that someone made using a recyclable grocery bad and clear plastic, kinda cool...

You should do the rest of the roof, and use the SUV body mount for the roof. Then cut some windows out of the back sides, and 2 tone the interior.

Just my thought.

I was just looking at other pics and agree, doing the interior maybe black would look better. So you saying use the high body mount that the kit came with and run them up to the top of a full roof right?

If you have the time you can do what I did (or similiar). I have never used styrene before and it's really pretty forgiving and easy to work with. I think I have about $15 bucks into mine (but probably around 20 hours or so)..I did it on "wine nights" too
