Default Girlfriends SCX10

Ever since I got my Wraith my girlfriend has been wanting to get into scale crawling. So we're going to go pick up a SCX10 for her this week, and this'll be where we post the updates.

Any simple tricks, tips, and mods I can do right off the bat at home? Already read through the "Tips and Tricks" thread but was wondering what you guys think.

Already have battery relocation and moving the front bumper up planned.

you deffinently need metal steering linkage. It will make a world of differance. I love it. Four link the front at least. remove the bump stops from the shocks. good luck man.

I will second the Link upgrade for the control arms and steering. It would be the first thing I did.

Forgot about the bump stops, thanks.
Steering and suspension will be the first upgrade. VP all the way.

Im sure everyone here has seen what stock Honcho looks like... So just one picture fresh out of the box.

She wanted to head out right away and go for a short run. Checked everything all over her car and we were good to go.

We'll probably head out past here later today.

Pulled the picture from my Wraith build HERE

Don't forget to put a lil blue thread locker on set screws on drive shafts always sucks when you get halfway down the trails and you drive shaft comes loose and 2wd just plain sucks..

Looks like a fun place to crawl! Look into metal driveshafts in the future!
aside from that and what has already been mentioned above the truck is solid! just wait till something breaks and upgrade then!

Bst of luck and happy trails

Bought Integy suspension for the Wraith so I took the stock Wraith suspension and threw them on to the Honcho.

Dont mind the messy table.

Also got bored and wanted to see what the stock Slash wheels and tires looked like.
