| Electronic Issue
When wheelin with the boys a few months back, my cousin submerged my scx that is only partially proofed. Everything was ok for a while, but about an hour later he lost all electronics. Now I'm finally tearing it apart. I initially thought it was a cooked ESC, which is water proofed. Now, The steering and lights function correctly. I have lights too, just no motor. Took the motor out and it runs when hooked to a AA batt. ESC swap, just to be sure, says its not the ESC. Is it my receiver? I still have lights on the receiver that are working properly, though, and I have other controls that work. This is the receiver, I know its cheap, but I don't want to throw money away if it's not the problem. FlySky Extra FS-GTR 3 Channel R/C Car 2.4Ghz Receiver |

plug your esc into the steering channel of the reciever and see if it does anything that will tell you if the throttle channel went bad on the reciever.
