I initially ground off a bit of the shock mount attaching flange. It helped a bit but under hard flex I noticed it still had slight rub on the frame. There are a few home built CMS units in the SCX10 section but I went with a unit that comes with a panhard setup from CKRC. It and the 2500 mah 2s Gens Ace lipos are my favorite addition and are all under $20 each.

I've started making the brace that will Fit in the body post holes on the rear. Is making the shock hoops stiff a good idea? My thought is yes. I've tried searching for this and I couldn't come up with anything. Appreciate any input.

I decided the Dingo body needed a grill and head lamps. I plan on using Axial light buckets and the screen covers. I'll make my own lense out of clear lexan. I first tried cutting and trimming to fit inside light covers. Took to long and to much sanding. I remmebered that I had a protractor with points. I then scibed the circle on the lexan and trimmed, much easier. Last edited by juswin24; 09-01-2012 at 09:01 PM. |

Now I cut a test hole in some styrene to fit the light bucked and lense cap. I trim the tab that hangs down on the lense caps. This way it will fit flush againest the styrene. |

Now that the lense cover fits flush, I needed to make a flat spot on the screw post on the light bucket. Didn't want to cut or remove the screw mount completely. I had to make sure I removed enough for the thickness of the styrene and lexan body. |

Here's a test fit on the body. I haven't ream a hole on the body yet. I noticed that the D90's light is off center closer to the grill. My try here I centered it To the light plate. There's still room for 3mm light. Just not sure if I was going to put them. Was trying to be slightly different. |

I like it... I'd drill 2 more holes for 3 millimeter LEDs and you could have the running light and turn signal too if you look there is probably some good textured styrene you could use for a grill! |

| Re: Dual Dingo build thread-My first build thread That's what I was thinking. I'll wait until I get some 3mm LEDs to test fit.

Bought more goody's yesterday. Should some LED's, resistors and holders coming in the mail in a week or so. Looking forward to installing these. I will tell you guys, whoever said cut up credit card was dead on! I'm just glad I've paid cash for all so far. I told myself when I started to build these I just wanted to have a couple of bashers ready to go. Now I got one going scale really fast. I'm Addict, I have a problem! Time to sell more on eBay!

Most of the LED's stuff is in. The next day or two ill have some mini toggle switches coming in. I had to go the cheapest route possible due to lack of funds. Total cost less than $20. Screws and servo Y harness was seperate cost. Plenty extra for mistakes. LED's are 5mm which fit all Axial light items on the Dingo. |

Got the LED holders mounted for the rear tail lights. Real easy to install. I had the 3 light decal stuck there and I used it as template. Since weather been warm, decals just peeled off easliy. |

Finishing up the grill. I moved the light buckets off center to match more the D90 grill. This will give room to install two lights next to the headlamp. I found very thin strips of styrene to lay on grill for texture. This will give some dimension to it. |
