| Servo Questions
New to the hobby so please bear with me. I have a stock Honcho and a pretty well upgraded one I picked up off of ebay for my pops. He has no plans for water or mud so I swapped my stock axial servo for his Hitec HS 5646WP. I noticed the stock axial servo turns really fast. This Hitec is a good bit slower... After much searching I found the specs for the hitec speed is .18 at 7.4v and torque is 179 oz at 7.4v. I am running a 2s 7.4 lipo Am I correct in the lower the number for speed the faster it turns? If so the best I could find is the stock axial is a .16, is that significantly faster than .18? I also read that this servo could be tuned? Is that something I may need to do to get the speed up a little bit more? Thanks |

yes, servos can have their speed adjusted but requires a radio with this adjustment feature. if you're still running the stock axial radio, it does not have this and you will need to upgrade.

cheapest radio with full functions seems to be the Flysky GT3B or GT3C radios. You can even upgrade them to better software/more channels. Are there better quality radios out there, sure. Are they the same low price, no.

i have a GT3C, stock form. I like it - the one thing I don't care for is the fact that the steering wheel is so far away from the grip that I cannot pilot with one hand anymore like I could do with the Axial tx. Plans are to do the LosiKid upgrade in the future to get more channels.
