Default Lube? Er no?

I recently started upgrading some of my SCX-10 based rigs with Axial CVD's, and was wondering if any of you lubricate the pin/swivel area on them. I normally use Mobil 1 synthetic grease or AcerGOO on moving parts. What are your thoughts, and what is your go-to lube? The first one to say Astroglide or KY gets a kick in the nuts!

on parts that are exposed to dirt but still could use some lube (driveshaft joints and cvds and the like) I tend to use eezox. its a gun lube, you only need a tiny amount and the spray on is WAY overkill. but get it over all the parts, and allow it to set. it drys so it does not attract much extra dirt, it protects from ware and rust . there are plenty of test of people putting this stuff on and exposing the steel (sometimes steel blocks sometimes steel wool) to salt water mist or setting it outside on a bulkhead near the beach and leaving it there for months with no rust.. its ment to stand up to the heat and pressures of semi auto gun fire, so I'm not to sure how well it holds up to constant spinning but it seams to work well so far. stopped my driveshafts from squeaking after they got alittle wet lol.

There is always time for lubrication.

I lube everything that I possibly can that moves. I use motorcycle chain wax lube on my drive shafts and axle shafts. The wax lube dries and doesn't collect trash plus it doesn't sling off and its waterproof.

I crawl with a couple of guys who always say they don't have time to lube their stuff and it makes all kinds of noise and has all kinds of slop from worn stuff about to break that with a little lube would have lasted alot longer.

+1 on Craddock's. Mine is a mountain bike chain lube, but the same thing. On qualification, like most of the claimed electronics, it is water resistant.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Looks like I'll be shopping around for better options than what I have now for keeping the CVD's in top shape.

lol I bought the spray can of eezox, not only did I use about 30x more then I needed to when lubing my gun the first time, but I could not use my bedroom for 3 days while it aired out. I really need to get a workbench set up somewhere else, some of the grease for the RC car smells almost as bad, though it don;t require airing out.
