Default Lazy afternoon with my Honcho on 2.2s

Just hanging out on the patio this afternoon and have the Honcho out in the rock garden.

Threw on the 2.2 Rocksters with a set of Hammers. Got on this rock and thought it looked like a neat little photo op...

Enjoy!

And a quick pic of the new K5 (on a Dingo chassis) that just got a set of Dingo flares...

Thanks! Amazing how relaxing these trucks are...and how well they traverse the rocks.

How do you think your truck crawls with the 2.2s compare to the 1.9s? Like do u think the 2.2 is easier to crawl with?

With the 2.2s, the truck is definitely more capable. I am actually able to go over the large rocks in the pic...with the 1.9s on, there would just not be the attack angle or clearance needed.

That being said, it is all about what you want. The truck looks cool with 2.2s and does a great job, but it does look a little "out of scale" if that is important to you. Also, electronic brake has a little more give with the 2.2s than 1.9s because of the overall diameter difference, so the truck feels a bit "clunkier" with the 2.2s.

Me, I just like enjoying the trucks. In fact, I get more enjoyment out of tinkering with them than I do driving them, so the scale factor isn't as important. The Blazer would be really scale with some 1.5s on it, but then I wouldn't be able to drive it where I want.

I don't understand the 2.2 are out of scale for a RC truck thing . I live in Florida and we have all kinds of trucks around I've seen some with skidder tires and some bone stock . With the 2.2s on it looks good to me looks like a jacked up mud truck from down south but to each his own I just don't get it .

You are right, they are "scale", but not many trucks are driving around with 22" rims and 50" tires.

And I agree with you...this Honcho looks awesome with a beefy set of 2.2s!

The rims dont look to big! They acutally look pretty good to me. Honestly im not that big into scale look. As long as i can crawl up some rocks and whatever then im good. I just ordered some 2.2s
