found these tools in a local craft supply type store, let me know what ya think Spent a grand total of 4 bucks (2 for tools, 2 for the clear stretchy beading string) not to shabby |

They have nice detail, but a little small. Some hand spades can be pretty short, but a pitchfork not much longer then a windshield wiper blade is a bit too much off-scale. Possibly placed in a different location it wouldn't look so "off" Either way, nice find |

Thanks for the imput, as this is my first scx10 im not too worried about it being a little off but i still tweaked it a little bit |

I think they look good, but you need to do a few things: - Enhance the "scale-ness" of them by turning the red part on the pointed shovel around so it is not visible, and perhaps shaping the handles a bit. - Affix them to the truck in a prototypical way. Not sure I have ever seen tools strapped to a truck the way you show. - Paint the shovels. A good dry brush technique using cheap dollar store acrylics and brushes will go a long way to making them look well used. Hope that helps. Andrew |
