Default SCX-Mojave Project

I was getting bored of the last incarnation of my rig, so I decided to go a new direction.

Here is the old build. It's a Proline F250 w/ solid rear rod cage. It's for sale if anyone is interested.

The old project

I want to do a leaf spring setup in the rear.
Current running gear consists of:
HH BRXL ESC
Hitec HS-7955TG servo
Axial 27t motor for a little more wheel speed
Spektrum SR300 receiver

To start out I had to shorten the rear links to fit the body

Red paint

Bed Liner

Short Shock mounts to fit shocks under the bed

Rear mounted

Front mount

Home made Toyota logo and sheet metal license plate

Front LEDs wired up waiting on transparent red and orange to finish lights

That is it for now I would love your comments and suggestions.

rcbro's leaf spring kit would be ideal when/if it comes back in stock.

I have never ordered from there how is the shipping time? I usually use RPP or my lhs. What leafs fit the build the best? I did pick up some chain links for shackles but am not sure on the front hangers

How long are your links, front and rear? From center holes on the rod ends.
And how does your body mount work?

The front links are homemade all thread links. 110 mm eyelet to eyelet
The rear links are 120 mm eyelet to eyelet

This is a pic of the rear mount setup I used some old body post from a ax10 kit that I ground down to fit.

The front I just ran 2 screws through the front grill area

Sweet, thanks. I am having trouble finding the perfect link lengths. I will try your measurements tonight!
I especially like the rear mount idea. I was about to try the original moubting holes on the body.
