Default Something different

I find myself looking for different suspension set ups daily. This is my most recent set up. There are no advantages to this set up, to tell you the truth the truck performs a little worse but I like the way it looks. I plan on going back to the stock set up when i get some new shocks but for the time being, this is how she will sit.

Sorry for blurry pics, I still live in the stone age with a normal cell phone.

If you go with shorter shocks it can work better. Some guys have done it with touring car shocks to do away with shock hoops for a flatbed.

You'll want to make sure the coil spring is connected to both the axle and chassis. I think a shorter shock would do wonders for you.

That's interesting. I have my shocks about that far forward, but the coils are still on

My original plan was to glue the springs to the axles and have the body mounts act as bump stops but I couldn't get the springs to stay stuck on the axles. Kind of like the front of jeep, when you see their front wheel drop and the spring actually stays with the axle and drops from the body. Anyway, a shorter shock i'm sure would work great but this is only temporary. I plan on getting the scale king shocks, they are a bit long but I think they will work well in the stock location. All my oil leaked out of these and like an idiot I put !90! weight oil in them and now they are stupid stiff. I tried to drain it all out but they are still stiff, basically my own stupidity ruined the shocks.
