The Axial website says to use a 2.5mm thick bearing, instead of the 3mm suggested here. Does the 3mm bearing fit with no problem, or is that a typo? I wouldn't imagine .5mm would be much difference.

I originally got the 3mm then found more info that says to use 2.5mm. The 3 fit but seemed tight in the case. The bearings that come in the rebuild kit for a traxxas servo are the correct size. You get two plus other parts for the traxxas servo. Costs about the same as buying two bearings by themselves. Any hobbyshop will have them.

So what size do you use? 2.5 or 3.0 mm? What part numbers and where did you get them.

Thanks guys, I was ordering some bearings for a SCT of mine, so I just threw in one of this size too. It works great, hopefully it'll extend the life of the servo some. It's funny that even some of the cheapest junk servos I open up have bearings in them, I was surprised to find out that the axial servo had a bushing. Thanks again! Here's what I ended up getting http://www.rcbearings.com/products/m...5-bearing.html shipping is cheap too, and they claim to be ABEC 3 or better. |

The Traxxas 2075 rebuild kits have bearings that fit. Ive used Hitec servo bearings..Seems the HS 625 and 645 up to the 985 use the same size as well. Last edited by 6sharky9; 04-08-2014 at 06:41 PM. | |
