Re: inner fenders Good idea, might try that. |
Re: inner fenders Looks good! i might be using something similar. I was planning on making the wheel wells and inner frame walls out of styrene, but this looks good. Thanks for the pic |
Re: inner fenders Can you post a picture off them not on the truck? |

but I probably won't be taking these off anytime soon. http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2da7b882.jpg |
Re: inner fenders I use the same tubs, mine didn't hold paint as well as I'd like but otherwise have been great. I scuffed the "inside" the body part and used outlaw black, next time I might try spray on bedliner on the wheel well side. I used a strip of black tape around the edges to keep the paint from rubbing off the body, a piece of split fuel tubing or duct tape on the inside of the body works also. |
Re: inner fenders Just a suggestion for anyone making inner fenders out of plastic tubs as shown above... If you want to paint them, I highly recommend Krylon Fusion paint. It's made specifically to use on plastic because it has a special bonding agent that helps it stick. Just a heads up! Good luck y'all! |
Re: inner fenders ive done this on quite a few, now i use pulled pork bowls from walmart if i need round ones or chinese takeout bowls for the squares, they both come in black plastic so no painting required |

Re: inner fenders I like them black tubs. Time to go get some pulled pork "thumbsup" |
Re: inner fenders Mine are black Krylon on Gladware. Definitely use Krylon. Lexan paint does NOT stick. |
