Default scx10 steering

i recently picked up a scx10 off fleebay im fixing somethings on it. i noticed it doesnt steer that good its great 1 way but not the other. so after looking it all over i found the steering link between the cross bar and the servo is to short and binding. the scx10 has rx10 shocks on it and looks like it sits up higher then stock. i also ordered 2.2s and larger tires and a lift. what are you guys doing with your steering when lifting these? thanks long time lerker first time poster

A picture is worth a thousand words..... That being said, I would make your own DIY custom steering links. 8/32 allthread and 1/4" brake line or .035 hollow rod. Revo rod ends part number #5347 or #5437 can't remember which. Just measure and cut your own so that you can get full steering . Try and disconnect the servo horn and reset center on the servo and make the wheels straight then remount the horn and see if that helps.

Take some pics of what you are talking about. It's hard to diagnose over the computer but pictures help.
