If you are going to do it that way then I would suggest to do what Zonkerd did. Run a bolt or use spacers to go all the way side to side. With it only spaced out like that, the link mount will flex around a lot and eventually fail. If you run it side to side it will be much stronger. I tried it like Zonkerd has his and it still flexed too much for my taste. I ended up making a bent upper link that mounts in the stock location but bends up and around the driveshaft.

Pretty much but I will have to find some way to brace up the chassis more to make it less flesh but with the traxxas drive shaft in the rear will be fine until I get a scx10 transmission case
