My first post and first honcho.

So I've been lurking for a bit and I just bought my first crawler. I'm hooked and in love with this rig.

It's surprisingly easy to drive granted I haven't mastered it yet.

First on the mod list will be:

Steering linkage upgrade,

Front bumper relocate,

Hi-clearance links,

Bead locks,

Soft springs.

The rip claws are extremely impressive. The only reason I haven't been able to climb something is from getting high centered.

I look forward to the advise that anyone can offer!

Thanks! I've found a few crawlers from a local forum I'm on. I'm in Kansas City Btw.

I've already removed my bump stops and I need to relocate the bumper asap! That thing limits the truck so much

Good stuff man. Glad to see you're enjoying. It's really a capable scaler out of the box. Doing some weight tinkering and going with proper ackerman definitely helps too.

Awesome post for a newcomer btw "thumbsup"

This isn't my first Rodeo lol

Yeah it does seem to roll a little too easy. That's one reason I'm wanting to get bead locks to get some weight down low. I this is my eventual goal to recreate this 1:1

That's my buddies jeep. I'll probably go proline Cherokee body and learn how to bend and weld tubing for the cage.

I most definitely will do a lot of modifying to the body if I do go that route. I'm also considering a tundra or hilux body with the honcho bed. I'm not too sure on the body just yet. I'm focusing on upgrading for performance.
