Default Need some help with my honcho

I just recently got my honcho, and I want to make it into a mud bogger/trail crawler. I just put in a 20t wraith motor and super bogger 1.9, but that's it. Any advice on what servo to use, esc, and maybe motor? I'm still learning. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Because you're not doing heavy rockcrawling, I would get a servo has has a range of torque of 150-250. Speed doesnt matter too much. The Axial ESC (AE-2) and 20T motor are just fine to use. Brushed motors like water but if you're going to be mud bogging, I would make a habit of doing normal maintenance on it. You can find waterPROOFing tutorials on Youtube; Search "Djmedic How to waterproof an RC".

The Hitec servo's are pretty tough and the high end ones are fairly waterproof.

For mud, you'll want to stick with a rebuildable, brushed motor.
I'd look into a Holmes Hobbies 16t Crawlmaster or 35t Torquemaster (the team editions are even better!) and run them on 3 or 4s lipo with a waterproof Holmes Hobbies BR-XL esc... and have fun!
