That sucks... I was thinking about the driveline angle thing but if that didnt help at all I don't know what would. MIP's are known t be strong and you trashed it in 30 mins.

Sad though this was a great build.

Is it always the same passenger side that keeps breaking?

I had a worn/loose bearing in my FOFF rig that caused me to keep breaking axles. With new better quality bearings and a few shims, it solved it for me .

Just a thought.

That's correct. Passenger side is the first to go. I'll tear the front end apart (again) and replace and possibly shim the diff setup. I'll have to see if I can get replacement parts for these CVD's.

Tore it down and didn't find any major binds or issues. I did limit the steering throw a little bit.
Not going to drive it until I get to the Superlift ORV this weekend.

Repainted some rear HPI trophy truck fenders to see what it looked like with the 'yota cab.

Replaced the blow MIP CVD with a $12 bent Universal I had left, limited the steering throw and took 'er easy.
Wheel'd for about an hour at the Superlift ORV in Hot Springs, AR. Four Fingers Trail. No issues to report.

Thanks. This truck crawls great with all the weight up front and down low.

Might have Superlift ORV trail run video in the future.

Just curious is there any longer drive cups that will fit that front locker so the set screws can get more bite on them. For a future build hopefully someone knows.

Not sure. Once I switched to the Highland locker up front it has held the outputs in great.

I just posted a thread in the For Sale about this rig too.
