Thanks. Just made up some quick inner fenders. Good ol sandwich tupperware. Paint later when it's warmer outside.

Setup some Pro-10's to take SLW hubs. Fronts is where I needed a little more width. Rears are still the OEM pin mount hubs. Just had to drill the lug holes with a 1/8th drill bit. Didn't shave the SLW collar off either.
Swapped some rings on the MTZ tires.

All just mock up and dress up right now. Not the final stages. Still building on it.

This truck will have two faces. Two bodies with two different styles. A stock weekend rig and a desert/trophy truck theme. BC Paints! will be handling the Trophy Truck theme.

Tips, tricks, hints, suggestions?

Couple quick IPhone Videos.

Tekin 13.5, Mamba Max Pro, 3S Lipo and a 21 tooth pinion. Nice power band and crawling with this setup.
I added 2oz of weight to the spare tire to help balance the truck out.

Yep, Get a Tekin 13.5 and Mamba Max Pro if you want awesome wheelspeed with great low end control for crawling. I haven't even put the torque rotor in it yet.

Welded up radiator supports. Exo-Radiator with fans and will probably add the Exo Light bar on soon too.
Painted up the Dinky RC fuel cell and added some details. Stripped some black coax cable for the fuel fill neck and used 14ga blue wire for the fuel lines. Used some thin steel for the fuel tank access door and some 2mm screws to hold it on.

Exo rear light bar and Interior are next.

Thanks. I got the fuel cell here, Fuel Cell (White), at Dinky RC.

Then I just used parts I had laying around the shop to detail it out. Painted it Red and then used a silver sharpie to color the steel hold down straps.

Thanks. Those fuel cells are a steal for the price. Not sure if I want to add the rear light bar or not. It will be screwed on so I can always take it off.

I have a new in box proline light bar setup for the front. I was going to compare the Exo bar to the Proline bar and see which one i like best.

Edit. Proline light bar won't work.

Added the Rear Light bar mount. Used some RCP Crawlers Fabrication*Tabs* and welded them up. Doing my best to keep the welds looking good. Just using a cheap Flux Wire welder. Have it turned down all the way.
Added a back cab screen and put on the Spur gear cover as well.

More to come for sure.
Been getting a 2200mah Lipo worths of crawling in it the last few days. I really like the way it crawls. Pre-loaded the front shocks a little more and it takes jumps better now.

Thanks.

Painted the inner fenders and battery tray.
Also made a new steering aluminum plate for the new upgraded GPM aluminum steering rack. Everything is pretty solid in the steering department now.

Finally broke a front Universal. Must have been getting weak cause it broke doing some donuts on the garage floor. They are only $12 a set but reside in Hong Kong.
