Thanks. Rootar made quick work of all the metal work and steering rack rebuild.
I showed up last night, got in way of his progress and we somehow finished up the skid brace and rear bed.

Still need to add a radiator mount.
Made a quick battery mount this morning. ESC and BEC fit under the battery plate.

Got to run this truck for an hour today. Two Words: FRONT BIAS

Ignore this paint job on this body! will get replaced.

Running gear:
ESC: Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL
Motor: Cheap out of the parts bin 35turn
3S lipo
18 Tooth pinion
Servo: Savox 1283

1.9 RC4WD MTZ Tires
Lil' Nova 1.9 Dual Stage 4.25T Foams Soft outers up front and medium outers out back trimmed about 1/2" off them.

Thanks. It crawls pretty darn good right now too. If I can get the front tires over the rocks it will pull up most verticals.
With most of everything up front the forward weight bias is great. The front shocks were soft for high speeds but perfect for crawling and letting the IFS work. Rears were a little firm with no weight out there right now.
Green lower springs with red upper springs is all I had.

Still lost of tuning to do as well as adding the details and paint.

The 1.9 MTZ's tuck the fenders good but a step to a slightly taller tire will be in the future. Going to run it with 1.9 Rox Lox's and 1.9 Rock Beasts on it soon.

Yea, first 10 climbs I was like "ahh, this ain't gunna make it". Then I had to quit saying that cause it works.

Yes, this is a great Rootar-Szczerba-Eyeball-Engineering build.

Put on some 1.9 Rok Lox's this morning but its raining outside. Rear fenders will need a tad of trimming and possibly bumping the wheelbase back a couple mm.
I have 1.9 rock beasts too

Maybe the Tekin Redline 13.5 with 13mm Torque Rotor?

only issue i have with any brushless setup is exteneded controlled decents. it takes a good bit to practice and a very good trigger finger to make these happen smooth.

I am up for the task. I really like feel of the 13.5's. Your F-350 is super smooth and has great punch.

Thanks, I painted it for my HPI Mini Trophy Truck a last year. Didn't turn out too good. My masks didn't work good. It's like a Monet, have to view it from afar.

I am thinking of a Racing paint theme or just a one or two color paint them. Haven't decided yet.

Had me and a few others surprised for sure. I put on some 1.9 Rox Loks and it looks a lot better. Should do some testing tonight. And might swap out to some 1.9 rock beasts as well.

That's the good thing about being a wheel/tire hoarder! Options!

More random unfinished pictures with some 1.9 rox loks and 1.9 rock beast. Rox Loks just fit it better.

they are drilled to accept Vanquish SLW hubs. ALmost all my 1.9 Axials are setup to accept VP SLW Hubs.
I run 350 hubs up front and no hubs out back, just stock axial width. 225 hubs out back were a touch too wide for this setup.

front skid late needs some holes punched in it. or scale bolts "holding it on." or.. something.
