I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ here, but how does this differ from the previous SCX10s other than the body, bumpers, and tires? I highly doubt that the performance will be any different than that of the Honcho.
Personally I think they took a big step backward with this one. The Wraith has an ultra-cool full interior, but this one reverts back to the toyish Dingo style non-interior. It's a miss for me.

As far as a stock scale crawler, can anyone show me a nicer looking truck? Take a look back at Axial's trucks or any competitors...I'll wait. They really stepped up their game with their first licensed body, that's impressive. Great job on the bumpers too.

The new tires look great. Given the R35 compound is well received, that new scale tread design looks nice and the fact that they're 4.6" tall, makes for an exciting new set of treads.

Same old truck you say? Well, if it ain't broke... don't fix it. It is a proven, simple and effective design. Leave well enough alone.

I'm glad to see that Axial is still hard at work making models we want to buy and drive. For those of you complaining, when did you get into scalers? I doubt many of you are like some of the veterans on this site that used to fabricate everything from bits and pieces of trucks. (TLT axles, 'pede trans, proline mashers). I'm not one of them either, but I can appreciate that the market gives us things like 25 different scale tire treads to chose from.
