I'm no fan of the 4dr JK's in 1:1, but I really dig this version of the SCX10....enough that I was thinking "Damn, wish I could afford this!" after opening the email this morning

Cool new stuff. Trepadors look interesting and pretty soft in the vid. Kudos Axial.

Dunno why people are crying, 1:1's barely change every few years.

Starting at Loon Lake, the Axial SCX10 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon made it's way along the Rubicon Trail until it finally reached it's destination, three days later, at the Homewood staging area. And by traveling approximately fifteen miles through some of the Rubicon Trail's harshest spots like Gatekeeper, Walker Hill, Lil Sluice, Soup Bowl and Cadillac Hill, The SCX10 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon earned the coveted Jeep® brand Trail Rated® badge. Just like their full-scale counterparts, the SCX10 had to earn this badge. And what better way to do it than on the very trail Jeep® uses as a proving ground for their vehicles.

How many scx10's did Jeff (or whoever was driving) run over in the 3 days? I noticed that the video didn't say "no scx10's were harmed in the making of this video".

I thought it was funny at 3:40 when Brad was telling someone how big his junk was.

I work for the psychic connection in my off time so I feel comfortable in this statement.....I see a drastic decraese in the value of newbright hardbodys upon release of this sick new addition to the axial family.

Back in the day of modding my wheely king i would have dreamed for it to look like this. But no there's always gonna be whiners. I for one will be picking up the kit when it comes out. And if it was exactly perfect to the masses then what would be the fun of it? For me I love upgrading and customizing my rigs, then driving them to its limit. Your dream rtr would run you about 2000, but then you ppl would bitch about the high cost. I love this new jeep hands down thee best jeep chassis The rc world has ever seen. Rant over now enjoy. Ps. Dear santa(axial gods) I would like one dropped off to my door step Christmas morning thanks, bye

Very pleased with what Axial has done with this JK

All of us enthusiast should be thankful that Axial is keeping this segment of the Hobby in a forward motion.

May not be at your pace, but you can not deny the are helping to keep it moving

Love it! I might just have to pick one of these up as my second SCX10. Here's hoping the kit comes out soon. Amazing job Axial!

Well said. I wouldn't whine. Axial didn't HAVE to release a new rig at all! But they did and it's Flippin sweet. Way cooler than the honcho and dingo. I'm gonna buy the body when it's available. I have too many scx10 s to get the kit. Just need the body and the tires.

Stoked on those tires.

The ripsaws might have been a good compound. But as far as scale looks goes they're THE worst tire released since mud slingers lol. Stoked to have a licensed tire in r35

I am pretty sure everyone can tell. But if some (I for one was) were planning on getting a secondary rig anyways, then why not get the ones that does come with a "few" different parts.

I'm excited to buy these bumpers for my cherokee honcho.

I wonder if Proline is going to continue to manufacture Jeep bodies now that Axial has this license?

It was Scott G piloting the 1:1. I was darting in and out from underneath him throughout the 3 days.

One SCX10 was used start to finish with zero breakage.

dont know if this was directed towards my comment, but if it is you misinterpreted me.

we're not blind. we havn't been living under a rock. we're not noobs. we know its a honcho base.

and dont confuse "way cooler than honcho or dingo" with "way better than a dingo or honcho."

way cooler: licensed body, licensed tires (that are 4.6in rather than 4.2in, so one probably could argue that it would perform better off road than a honcho, therefore making it better than the honcho, but i'm still not saying personally saying "better," just saying "cooler")

but like I said, cant wait for them to release the body and tires.. "just need the body and the tires"
