Default Wraith to SCX10?

So I was thinking of changing things up with my Wraith to make an SCX10. Would the AR60 axles and links still work? Can't find the wheelbase of both.

Thanks

As far as I know it's a pretty common switch . Might require a few mods. The stock wheel base on a scx10 (honcho) is 12.3. If your going with a dingo the wheelbase is I believe 11.3 . Check out the axial website, should have all the specs you need. And yes, the axles should work just fine

Yes they are all listed here. Problem is, I didn't know if I would have a problem with axles and links. Honcho may work.

Dingo 290mm (11.4")

SXC10 Honcho 313mm (12.3")

And a Wraith 343mm (13.5")

You shouldn't have a problem with axles at all really. . You'd be running the wraith drivetrain on a scx10 chassis. As far as links go, you'd have to run the honcho links to achieve the proper wheel base of 12.3. Or you can run extended links to give it that stretched look. In reality you'll have to play around with it to see what'll fit your driving needs .

Your drivelines would need to be either shorter or longer depending on what wheelbase you want too.

At this time I have the RC4WD tranny with the wraith MIP shafts. They have alot of room to be shorter. All my parts are VP with the AR60 axles. All I use my rig for is paying around. Its worth the fun of just playing with it really. My Rig started out as a ridgecrest and is now a wraith. Why not SCX? lol

i just slammed the wraith axles under the scx10 chassis, and youll need x4 shorter top links and x4 wraith links to
get the diffs at a somewhat neutral position. The scx10 center driveshafts DO NOT work on the wraith axles as it tends to have alot of back&forth play which would tear the pinion/ringear apart.

You can run the ax10 trans witch will be plenty strong enough. Just add some RR internal gears. Or you can get crazy like I did and built this
