Default Four link front and rear..need help

Hi there..i installed the axial aluminum links upper and lower. Do i need to add the 3 mm spacer in the front for pinion angle? I have tried every combination possible(i think). I think the rear is ok judging by the angle but everything is binding up

What parts did you use when building the front upper links?

Maybe post a picture of the links and the diff angle you are getting.

On mine, the diff angles lined right up so I didn't use the 3 mm spacer.

I used 60mm with the 25mm extenders on the 4 link truss...98mm on the bottom...can't post pics right now.
Everything seems correct...any thoughts appreciated...

If the way you asked your question the first time didn't get you your answer, try describing it differently with more details.

I also would agree that a pic would help tremendously in this situation.

Try this: sit your truck on a table or something flat. Is your axle pinion parallel to the table, or flat surface? If not, is it pointing down toward the flat surface, or up toward the transmission?

Do the wheels lock while turning, or driving straight, or both?

Verify the front axle spins freely by removing the driveshaft from the axle pinion and turning the tires by hand.

Work through these items and then report back.

I can see that the axle pinion is slightly pointed upwards. I removed the pinion from the spur gear and everything moves free. When i drive the truck the front wheels are locking. I suspect it could be the rod ends used. There is only so much room to work with before the servo hits the chassis bar. I agree a picture would help but i can't find my ipad adapter for my camera lol..issues! Just frustrating seems like such an easy fix. I race 5th scale losi5 and bajas. I can tear those apart with my eyes closed...this is just bizarre. Anyhow as soon as i can post some pictures i will. All the help is appreciated i'll just drive my wraith until i fix this problem.
Thanks!

Ok it was 'nt the links they are installed correctly. I removed the shafts and it was still binding, removed the pinion gear and the transmission is smooth. My motor must be bad after just one lipo pack. Is it the bearing?...want to upgrade to a faster brushed motor..mostly a trail rig for my daughter to follow my wraith around. Any suggestions? I do have a titan 12t laying around...what motor will make me go faster?
Thanks again!

What was? Just the front wheels? All four? Just pushing the truck flat? Actually lifting the truck and turning individual axles/wheels?

Well, then, won't cost you anything to try it out. Be sure to report back and let us know how it went.

Swapped out my stock electronics..installed xl5 esc and titan motor and everything works perfect. Added some mip shafts and relocated my battery to the front lower section and painted up a new jeep rubicon 4 door body..my daughter is a happy camper now....think i'm going to order a trail finder 2.. I'm enjoying these scale trucks a lot!

Thanks!

Just download the TapaTalk app on your iPad and you can load pictures right from the ipad. Or load the tapatalk app on your phone (iPhone or Android) take a pic and load it right from there. Its super easy.
