Default Blackfoot Truggy (Ford F-150 Truggy)

This thread is primarily for my brother, who this is being built for. I started it over with my other Jeep TJ build:Hacked up Newbright TJ (first rig and post!)

Just figured it needed its own proper thread, because it's becoming quite the bada$$ rig. I don't want to give it back!

ON TO THE PICTURES

OFFICIAL "BEFORE" PICTURE:

grill split with center strip taken out and front dove nosed. Being glued back together with oatey abs plumbing cement

angled the grill in and trimmed the headlights to give it a really mean look!

time for lots of bondo!

nice and smooth!

TIME FOR PAINT!

first, a chrome underlayer for those cool scratch effects...

Then, finally a coat of testor's sunblast orange or something. The orange with metal flake in it.

Some cage ideas...

Then I sent him some cage ideas...

Concept 1:

Concept 2:

Concept 3:

Concept 4:

Concept 5:

He picked concept 1, just without the hoop that i previously used on my TJ.

So, it was looking kinda sad with these little baby trail buster tires.

So when his Baja Claws came in, I mounted them up, and they looked pretty sick:

So then the brazing began:

start of the actual cage:

I also took this time to alleviate some rubbing of the tires against the body by deepening the front fender wells:
