| R2 trans vs robinson racing
Hey everyone im new here and iv had my scx10 for quite some time already and was wondering what would be a better upgrade the RC4WD R2 black crawler transmission or just upgrading the gears to robinson racing. i done research and found nothing on comparison and would really appreciate your guys feedback...THANKS

Seems I've read that the Axial tranny is very capable. I put the Robinson gears in mine, but I can't say for sure how much better is than others. Steel gears are better than plastic. I don't have a lot of hours on mine yet. Just do some searching and you might run across something.

With RR gears, the Axial trans is bullet proof. I've heard mix reviews on the R2. I have heard good things so far about the new 2 speed RC4WD trans for Axial. |
