Has Anyone tried these king shocks? They look really cool, haven't seen pics of them on anyone's rig. I have prolines on my JK now, they work good, but would like to try the kings.

I saw them on the RPP site, and one other one, $45 i think a pair? They look just like the full size ones, blue and silver, with blue springs.

I would imagine they look great. I will be upgrading the shocks on my rig sooner than later and these are on the short list, just based on looks. If they proform as well then I'm in too. Will- |

I agree, the looks caught my eye, but the performance has to be there too, they look exactly like the ones I ran on my Pro 2 full size off road truck |

I have seen them up close on a SCX-10 based buggy. They looked amazing and appeared to work smoothly. I did drive the buggy but it felt very composed, smooth, and handled dips and off camber quite well. They sure as hell made me want to buy them! But the stock ones work and they came with the rig. I'll be buying some if RPP or RC4WD ever has a sale and they are included...

I asked RC4WD about them, they said they had been working on these for about a year, they are now supposed to hold oil like a real rc shock and should not stick like the old blue dual rates did, so hopefully they are really smooth, the looks of them is amazing!

We have been seeing really good results with these. A few local customers as of recently have used and said they work really well The Junfac XD shocks are a little larger diameter and in my opinion a little less scale looking.

Hey man, i was looking at those as well. My shock on my scx10 are the lisi comp shock. They are very smooth and look more scale than the prolines. Good luck!(:

Look like they reform pretty well. I am currently running GMade 93mm Piggy Backs up front and GMade Aration 93mm in the rear on Gear Head relocation kit. They seem to run real nice and smooth. Ill post pics as soon as I can find them....... Looks like I might have deleted them. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note (Phablet) Last edited by AsILayDying; 11-27-2012 at 05:48 PM. |
